The gentleness of God's ever-accepting love, ever-knowing love, always-present-divinely-gifted love is THE LOVE that you seek. It holds with it a promise that you will be loved always. This is the love we seek from our partners in life experience; this you do in remembrance of the creator's love. But this is only an ideal to most of us: to love as God does, to hold dear and sacred all action, to understand and embrace the highest and lowest thought within ourselves and others.

This is the mastery with which God lives and has being. That we could but comprehend a modicum of its experience would render us speechless and still. Even for souls in high places, the light of God's love is accessed at will and as tolerated. For the greatness to which we all aspire is that of imbuing the love of the master--the love of God itself.
